Assistant Professor Stuart Shapiro performed three of his award-winning compositions from the album "New Songs of the Old Erie Canal" at the World Canal Conference.
The conference, which was held in Buffalo, NY, for the first time, paid special tribute to the bicentennial of the Erie Canal, and was attended by representatives from 10 countries and 22 states.
