The Social Work Club conducted community outreach to promote mental health awareness at a Dunkirk, NY, elementary school event.
Student leaders in the club – Aileen Richardson, Remy Comstock, Paige Johnson, Abigail Blount and Reyna Reisner – collaborated with local families with children, from pre-kindergarten to second grade, at School No. 3 through games and activities on March 26. The students are all Social Work majors who will graduate in 2025.
Events included a mindfulness scavenger hunt, an affirmation station, emotions bingo and kid-friendly yoga.
