An evening of Christian worship through music will be held in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room on Friday, Nov. 14.

The 6 p.m. gathering will provide an opportunity to praise God’s name as a community, explained Jennifer Petracchi, secretary of the campus group InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Members of InterVarsity Church Fellowship’s e-board are partnering with Gospel Church for the first time to present this semester’s program.

Those leading the worship include Venus Rodriguez (violin and vocals), e-board president, dual major (Music Therapy and Psychology), senior, from Bronx, NY; Micah Doig (vocals), treasurer, dual major (Music Industry and Economics), junior, from Palenville, NY; and Ms. Petracchi (vocals), Music Education, from Farmington, NY.

“This is a free event open to the public, no matter what religious background,” Petracchi added.

Doors open at 5 p.m., followed by worship at 6 p.m.
