Six Social Work students were inducted into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society in a ceremony on April 27.
The purpose of the honor society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals.
The Social Work students inducted into the honor society were Caitlyn Wagner, Xavier Lake, Spencer Keller, Virginia Stepowski, Sandra Buchnowski and Ava Kuty.
To be eligible for membership in the honor society, a student must have completed at least 9 social work credits and have an overall GPA in the top 35 percent of students in the major.
