Oboist and pianist, Mark DuBois, formerly principal oboist of the Flint Symphony, performs with the Erie Philharmonic and has played occasionally with the Buffalo Philharmonic while living in Western New York. He has also performed with the Detroit Symphony and Columbus Symphony when living in those regions. Mark holds an MM in oboe performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 1984; a BM from the same school in 1983 and an Ed. M. from the University of Buffalo in 1997.

Teaching Interests

Currently teaches Aural Skills at Fredonia State University, as well as accompanying some students.

Research Interests

He is co-author of the Oboe section of the textbook, "Teaching Woodwinds" published by Mountain Peak Music.
