Nolan Ahearn of Henrietta has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for September.

Mr. Ahearn is completing his third semester as a Resident Assistant in Igoe Hall. He has been described as an exemplary leader who sets a great example for residents and helps to keep the staff current with social justice issues.

His supervisor, Pat Toscano, describes him as someone who is “always available whenever myself, a resident or a fellow staff member needs him. I learn something new from Nolan on a weekly basis, and his presence on our staff is felt throughout the building. Nolan is highly involved in RAAB [Resident Assistant Advisory Board] as the vice president, and he helps to heighten the quality of the RA experience for every RA on campus. His work ethic and genuine care for students makes me proud to be his supervisor.”

Mr. Ahearn is also the vice president of the Leadership Street Team, and serves as a campus tour guide.
