In observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness month, the Intercultural Center, in collaboration with the Black Student Union, is sponsoring “A Walk in their Shoes.”

The event is designed to increase awareness on domestic violence and abuse and will take place on during Family and Friends Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m.

Participants should gather at the Williams Center Patio (the rain location is The Blue Lounge). The event will begin with a walk to the Lake Shore Savings Clock Tower and back to the patio where there will be speakers and informational materials.

T-shirts ($18) are available online and will be at the event for those wishing to purchase them.
