Iraq War veteran gives thanks for service dog

Matt Wronski, a Marine Corps veteran and Fredonia High School graduate, has “Judge” by his side to help heal the battle scars from his five tours in Iraq, thanks to the Veterans Club at Fredonia and WNYHeroes, a non-profit that supports veterans and their families.

McCurdy named October R.A. of the Month

Joycelyn McCurdy, a junior from Brooklyn majoring in Early Childhood: Childhood Education, with a minor in School and Counseling Psychology, has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for October by the Student Recognition Committee in Residence Life.

Students perform essential work during general election

Conticello named to SUNY Student Voices Action Committee

Sarah Conticello, a junior from Lake Grove on Long Island, majoring in Childhood Inclusive Education, with a concentration in Natural Sciences, has been selected as one of 27 students throughout SUNY to serve on its newly formed Student Voices Action Committee.

Rosa Parks Scholarships to be awarded at ceremony

Scholarships valued at $350 each will be awarded to three students at the Rosa Parks Scholarship Competition awards ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at noon, in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
