Abdo sets school mark, Onuoha reaches Top 10

Nick Abdo ran the 200m dash in a school-record time, and also put up Fredonia State's third best time ever in the 400m dash Saturday at Boston University.

Abdo ran the 200m in a time of 22.20. His 400m time of 49.33 was third in school history.

Toby Onuoha had a productive day, turning in two times that ranked in the school's Top 10 all time.

Onuoha's successes came in the same two events. He ran a 23.06 in the 200m, tenth all time in Fredonia State history, and 50.26 in the 400m dash, which is sixth best on the school-record list.

Josh Walters turned in a personal best in the 800m, completing the race in 1:57.06.

Relay sets school mark

The 4 x 100 relay team of Cameron Sample, Jordan Lockett, Jacob Winn, and Nick Marsowicz set a new Fredonia State outdoor record, finishing the race in 42.19 seconds. It was a regional-qualifying time, and .17 seconds behind the first-place Cortland team.

Pellechia earns fourth SUNYAC title

For the fourth time in four tries, pole vaulter Cara Pellechia can call herself a SUNYAC Champion. Pellechia cleared 3.50m to take the outdoor title at the SUNYAC Meet on Friday.
