Junior Grace Alexander was named the SUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday. She led the Devils to a pair of SUNYAC wins as the Devils inched closer to a post-season berth.
Alexander averaged 19 points, 5 assists and 4.5 rebounds. She shot 50 percent (13-26) from the field, which included 7-12 (58 percent) from three-point range. In a 74-42 win over Potsdam, she scored 23 with 5 assists and 4 rebounds. In a 65-45 win over Plattsburgh, she scored 15 and had 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Currently, Alexander ranks ninth in the SUNYAC in points per game and is second with 48 three pointers.
The Devils play host to Cortland on Tuesday.
