Back to in-person format for ‘Welcome Back Week’

Karaoke fun in the Williams Center.

An enticing menu of in-person attractions, ranging from bingo to an outdoor movie screening, will mark the return of Welcome Back Week. All events are free to students who bring their FREDcards.

“Charlie’s Angels,” the original 2000 film that was a continuation of the 1970s crime drama television series featuring three women who worked for a detective agency, will be shown on Monday, Aug. 23, at 9 p.m. in Dod’s Grove. Movie-goers are advised to dress warmly and bring a blanket.

Trivia will be played on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

Mind-reader extraordinaire and motivational speaker Robert Channing will be in the spotlight in Rosch Recital Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. He’s a favorite on the college circuit, having entertained students at hundreds of schools – including Fredonia, where he’s presented a dozen mind-boggling shows.

Karaoke will be staged on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. in Tim Hortons, located in the Williams Center.

Bingo, Spectrum Entertainment Board’s most popular Welcome Week event, will be played on Friday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
