Barmore earns regional qualifying time in 800 meters

Freshman Collin Barmore finished third in the 800 meters at the Utica College Blue and Orange Invitational on Saturday. His time of 1:57.16 also qualified him for the Atlantic regional championship in March.

The 4x400 meter relay of freshmen Barmore, Will Guagliardo and Toby Onuoha, and sophomore Alec Wright, finished second in the 22-team field with a time of 3:29.64, edging out the third-place team by four-hundredths of a second.    
Guagliardo also ran his personal best in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.37 seconds.

Sophomore distance runner Tony Gettino finished the 5,000 meters in his personal-best time of 16:59.0.
