The Fredonia State women's cross country team competed at the Rowan 6k Invitational in the Open Division on Saturday. A total of 87 runners finished, with Fredonia State's Alexandra Battaglia claiming first in a time of 23:55.6.

Vanessa Ryhal - 26:09.5, 17th
Elizabeth Gloss - 26:09.9, 18th
Kristin Kelemen - 27:22.2, 43rd
Erin Cool - 29:09.7, 70th

The team finished fourth of seven teams with RPI taking the team title.

The Devils are back at it in two weeks when they compete at the SUNYAC Meet hosted by Oswego State on Oct. 29.

On April 25, Dods Hall on the campus of SUNY Fredonia was home to the annual Dunkirk-Fredonia Unified Basketball Game. In front of a raucous crowd, the two teams battled it out for four quarters.

The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.
