Men's Basketball Head Coach Sean Smiley becomes the first repeat guest on The Blue Devil Banter Podcast, and the timing is perfect. Coach Smiley talks about the return to workouts for his team, both in the Dods Hall Performance Center and the Dods Hall Gym. He and co-hosts Josh Schmit and Trevor Hauer also discuss March Madness, which was just about to begin when the podcast was recorded.
The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.
The 4x100 relay team took third place, and turned in a AARTFC qualifying time on the second day of the Cortland Classic on Saturday. Jacob Winn -- a member of the relay team -- also turned in a third place in the finals of the 100m dash.
After qualifying for the finals on Friday, Cara Pellechia finished fourth in the 100m dash, and also turned in a fifth-place finish in the 200m for the top two finishes for the Fredonia State women's track and field team.
