The Fredonia State men's soccer team controlled much of the play Saturday afternoon but settled for a 0-0 draw against La Roche at University Stadium. The Blue Devils outshot the Redhawks 8-3 and earned seven corner kicks while posting their third shutout of the season.
Fredonia generated the majority of its offensive chances in the opening half, holding a 7-2 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks before intermission.
Goalkeeper Thomas McDonald was credited with the shutout as Fredonia limited La Roche to just three total shots and did not allow a shot on goal.
