Bradley named head coach

Coach Bill Bradley

After serving in an interim capacity the past season, William Bradley was named the full-time coach of the Fredonia State Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams. Bradley is a 2018 graduate of Fredonia State and a native of Dunkirk.

"We have a lot of work to do," said Bradley" but I am excited to see how far we can go. There is a lot of potential with this program."

Bradley was the head coach of the Fredonia Hammerheads Swim Club from 2018 until taking over for the Blue Devils this past fall.

While at Fredonia State, Bradley was part of the 200- and 400- school-record relay teams. He was also the Chief Justice of the Student Association while earning a degree in English.

Junior Allie Wandell was selected First Team All-SUNYAC by a vote of conference coaches on May 14. The shortstop from Newark Valley High School was the most consistent player for the Devils all season.

Relay sets school mark

The 4 x 100 relay team of Cameron Sample, Jordan Lockett, Jacob Winn, and Nick Marsowicz set a new Fredonia State outdoor record, finishing the race in 42.19 seconds. It was a regional-qualifying time, and .17 seconds behind the first-place Cortland team.
