Lacrosse Head Coach Tori Poffenberger was recently honored by St. Mary's College of Maryland as a member of its Class of 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame.

Poffenberger holds multiple school records and is currently fifth all-time in program history in both points and goals, sixth all-time in ground balls, and eighth all-time in points per game. During the 2016 season Poffenberger's team posted multiple wins over Top 20 teams including Washington and Lee University, Washington College, York College, and Mary Washington.

Poffenberger had finished her career with multiple All-CAC team awards and All-Region awards and was selected as a Second Team DIII All-American in 2016. She would go on to play in the North/South Senior All-Star Game. After her collegiate career, Poffenberger played abroad in London at the World Cup Festival in 2016 and the Prague Cup in 2017.

Coach Poffenberger is in her fourth season as the head coach at Fredonia State. Last season, she guided the Devils to their first winning record and first playoff appearance in 10 years. She also coached three players — Sydney Buchko, Emma Cockerel, and Camryn Jacobs — to All-SUNYAC recognition.
