This week's Fredonia State Male and Female Athletes of the Week are freshman Camiren Collins (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown H.S.) and senior Megan Orrange (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda H.S.).

Collins excelled in three events at the Houghton Invitational on Saturday. He finished in third place out of 78 sprinters in the 60m dash in a time of 7.01 -- just .04 off the pace -- which qualified him for the Niagara Regional Meet. That time also ranks second in school history. He took second place out of 70 runners in the 200m dash in 22.56 seconds. His 4x400 relay team took first place in a time of 3:27.79.

Orrange competed in four events at the Penn State Behrend meet. She finished 1st in the 100 free, 2nd in the 50 free, and 3rd in the 200 free, and 1st in the 200 free relay vs. Penn State Behrend on Friday.
