Bronwyn Madden scored her SUNYAC-leading ninth goal in the eighth minute as the Fredonia State women' soccer team would make that lead stand up in a 4-0 win on Senior Day over visiting Potsdam. Gabby Irwin, Grace Mackey, and Abby Herbst also scored, while Irwin added two assists and Jinan Clark added one.
Abby Szymkowiak had seven saves in goal for the Devils. Irwin (57th minute), Mackey (70th), and Herbst (72nd) all scored in the second half.
The Devil offense outshot Potsdam 31-11, while collecting 16 shots on goal compared to seven for the Bears.
Irwin's two assists give her seven on the year, which ranks second in the conference.
The Devils improve to 4-2-1 in the SUNYAC and 7-5-4 overall.

The Devils have two road games left in the regular season. They travel to Potsdam on Wednesday, and to Morrisville next Saturday.
