The Fredonia State women's soccer team tied Potsdam, 1-1, on Saturday. The Devils scored in the first half, and Potsdam got the equalizer in the second half.

Jordan Barrett scored her second goal of the season in the 17th minute to give the Devils a 1-0 lead.

Potsdam tied the game in the second half on a penalty kick by Sarah Emmi.

The Devils ripped seven shots, with four on goal. Bri Grazen, Jenna Hewitt, and Maddy Payne each took two shots. Sabrina Suriani had five saves.

The Bears (2-4-1 SUNYAC / 6-7-1 overall) had 11 shots, with six shots on goal. 

The Devils (0-4-2 / 2-6-4) play host to Plattsburgh next Saturday.

The 4 x 100 relay team of Cameron Sample, Jordan Lockett, Jacob Winn, and Nick Marsowicz set a new Fredonia State outdoor record, finishing the race in 42.19 seconds. It was a regional-qualifying time, and .17 seconds behind the first-place Cortland team.

For the fourth time in four tries, pole vaulter Cara Pellechia can call herself a SUNYAC Champion. Pellechia cleared 3.50m to take the outdoor title at the SUNYAC Meet on Friday.
