The Fredonia State women's soccer team received goals from four different players, and Dani Rubino and Abby Szymkowiak combined to shutout Potsdam on Saturday.

The Devils opened the scoring when Jordan Barrett scored on a penalty kick in the ninth minute. The Devils were prevented from adding to the lead by Potsdam goalkeeper Savannah Bowie who made several nice stops and gathered eight saves in the half.

Potsdam had two opportunities to score. The first shot was ripped off the top cross bar. They also had a breakaway, but were whistled for offsides.

Rubino started the game in goal and made one save. She came out in the 16th minute following an apparent injury. Szymkowiak stepped in and finished the game for the Devils.

The Devils picked up the pace in the second half, scoring three times. Sellers scored her fifth goal in the past two games and seventh overall. Gabby Irwin scored her third of the season, and Jenna Hewitt had her first score of the year.

The Devils improve to 5-4-1, and 2-2 in the SUNYAC. Potsdam drops to 2-5-2 and 0-3-2 in conference play.
