The Fredonia State women's swim team defeated Pitt-Bradford, 82-70, on Saturday. The Devils won four individual events, including a pair by Izzy Kleinmann.
Here's a look at the first-place finishers:
Lily Phillips - 200 free - 2:26.43
Izzy Kleinmann - 200 IM - 2:47.01
Izzy Kleinmann - 100 butterfly - 1:17.64
Kat Cassidy 100 free - 1:07.15
"The first meet of the season is always a bit of a mixed bag as far as results are concerned," said Head Coach Bill Bradley. "But overall, my staff and I were happy with the team's energy today, as well as the improvement we can see in their skills already this season. It was a great way to start the season, and we can only continue learning and improving from here."
The team is off two weeks until Oct. 25 when they travel to Baldwin Wallace for a tri-meet with Allegheny.
