Lunch will be provided.
Students, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to register here for the “lunch and learn” session.
On Friday, Oct. 10, at noon, SUNY Fredonia professor and business owner Mark Nickerson will present “So You Want to Start a Business” workshop. Dr. Nickerson will discuss what it takes to launch a business, types of businesses and a give brief QuickBooks tutorial during the interactive workshop.
SUNY Fredonia students who have entered or want to sign up for the 11th Annual Student Business Competition are encouraged to attend. The event is open to all students, faculty and staff as well as the community. Please register for the event here.

The CIED is a collaborative hub for entrepreneurship, economic development and community engagement. Since 2007, the center, formerly the Fredonia Technology Incubator, has offered a business incubation program including administrative and business services, mentoring, networking, professional consulting, education opportunities, access to capital and work ready space. It also serves as an economic development hub.
