Musicians from prominent organizations, including the Cleveland Orchestra, will work with String Area students at the Fall String Festival.
The festival is slated for Monday, Sept. 22.
Master classes for current students will begin at 1 p.m. at the following Mason Hall locations: Juliet J. Rosch Rectal Hall, Diers Recital Hall, Room 1075 and Room 1051. A chamber music master class will begin at 3 p.m. The day-long festival will conclude with a gala recital by the guest musicians in Rosch Recital Hall at 5 p.m.
Guest artists will include Andrew Lin from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, George Taylor from the Eastman School of Music, Brian Snow from Bowling Green University and Scott Dixon from the Cleveland Orchestra.
The festival is sponsored by the College of Music, Theatre, and Dance’s area of Applied Music Performance.
