Angeline Kimbrell, a senior majoring in Computer and Information Sciences with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in programming, has been chosen as the February 2019 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life. 

Ms. Kimbrell is highly committed to helping students and employees with their technology issues. She tutors in the Computer Science Lab, and works in the ResNet Office as a senior technician.  

Kimbrell has also volunteered with events like the Veteran’s 5K and the Student Veterans Club’s “Stars and Strikes” fundraiser. Additionally, she works at Tim Hortons in the Williams Center. 

Mark Mackey, Kimbrell’s supervisor in the ResNet Office, nominated her for the award. 

Established in 2003, the Student of the Month (SOM) Committee recognizes individual students for their achievements, both scholastic and co-curricular. Nominations for Student of the Month can be submitted by filling out the nomination form

Thomas Hayes, a second semester resident assistant in Grissom Hall, has been named RA of the Month for January/February by the Office of Residence Life.
