The State University of New York at Fredonia will celebrate the Class of 2020 virtually on Saturday – the day of the university's originally scheduled Commencement.

Fredonia has produced a video designed to honor students receiving bachelor's and master's degrees, and the advanced certificate, and urges graduates and their families to watch on Saturday.

The video includes many elements of Fredonia’s traditional Commencement ceremony, including reflection speakers, student performances of the national anthem, and messages from Interim President Dennis Hefner and Senior Class President Deoniss Jackson. The video will also include a musical performance recorded earlier in the semester.

Most importantly, the video will honor Fredonia's graduates, who were invited to submit their personal photos for the video.

The video will be released on the Fredonia website (www.fredonia.edu) on Saturday morning, May 16. Links to the video will also be provided on Fredonia’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media pages.
