Kappa Sigma and Sigma Kappa, two Greek Life organizations at SUNY Fredonia, will host a canned food drive to benefit the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m., in front of the Lake Shore Savings Clock Tower on campus.

“We haven’t done this before and this will start the first of many annual Kappa Sigma and Sigma Kappa food drives,” said Aidan Ceci, Kappa Sigma president.

Non-perishable food will be accepted as long as it hasn’t gone past its expiration date. Canned items are preferred.

Members of Kappa Sigma and Sigma Kappa will be stationed in front of the clock tower, and can collect food donations directly from cars, so people will not have to get out of their vehicles to donate, Mr. Ceci noted.
