Guitar Chamber Music Press publishes Piorkowski composition

“A Nevada Jaunt,” a new composition for guitar ensemble by SUNY Distinguished Professor James Piorkowski, has been published in Guitar Chamber Music Press. 

The premiere of the piece, commissioned for the Clark County School District High School Honor Guitar Ensemble, was held at the Las Vegas Academy Performing Arts Center in October 2021, with Mr. Piorkowski serving as guest music director.

Guitar Chamber Music Press is devoted to publishing music composed and arranged for guitar and guitar ensemble.

The Fredonia Guitar Ensemble, which Piorkowski directs, also performed “A Nevada Jaunt” at Rosch Recital Hall in November 2021. The performance can be viewed online
