Sophomore Stephen Hallberg (Jamestown/Jamestown H.S.) of the Fredonia State men's cross country team was named the SUNYAC Runner of the Week on Monday.
Hallberg paced the team with a 32nd-place finish out of 113 runners at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday. He crossed the finish line in 26:16 as the team finished eighth overall out 17 teams that competed.
