Fredonia State highlights from the Brockport Invitation track and field meet held May 2 at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium.

WOMEN

MaryClaire Haseley, personal-best 5:16.40 in the 1,500 meters;

Sarah Buckley, season-best 1:04.63 in the 400 meters;

Angie Tredo, season-best 1:06.24 in the 400 meters;

Evelyn Smith, season-best 1:04.26 in the 400 meters;

Vanessa Ryhal, personal-best 2:35.15 in the 800 meters;

Ali Dixon, season-best 1:15.64 in the 400-meter hurdles;

Eleanor Clarke, personal-bests of 34.40 meters in the hammer throw, and 30.55 meters in the javelin.

MEN

TyeRyan Burke, season-best 51.22 seconds in the 400 meters;

Collin Barmore, season-best and regional qualifying 1:56.93 in the 800 meters;

Mark Schneider, season-best 16:24.46 in the 5,000 meters;

Tyler Miller, persona-best 3.80 meters in the pole vault,

4x400 meters relay team, season-best 3:28.31. The runners were Burke, Topher Elkins, Toby Onuoha, and Barmore.

She was supposed to vault at Brockport, but the weather sent her to Westminster College in Pennsylvania. The change in venues did not deter Cara Pellechia on Saturday as she cleared 3.63m to set a new Fredonia State mark in the outdoor pole vault.

The Fredonia State men's track and field team had a strong showing this weekend at Westminster. The meet featured a number of Division I, II, and III schools. Cameron Sample had the top individual performance, a fourth place in the triple jump, and the 4x100 relay team took first place.

The Fredonia State softball team earned a series split against Plattsburgh and a sweep against Potsdam over the weekend to improve to 8-12 overall and 3-3 in the SUNYAC.
