SUNY Fredonia’s Homecoming celebration is just around the corner, and alumni are already making plans to return to campus for a weekend filled with nostalgia, connection and spirited fun.

The events on Oct. 24 to 26 range from cherished traditions to exciting new additions. Tickets are available now for all events online.

Golden Alumni Luncheon

Kicking off the weekend, the Golden Alumni Luncheon will be held Friday at noon in the Horizon Room of the Williams Center. Alumni who graduated in 1975 or earlier are invited to reconnect over lunch, enjoy a display of SUNY Fredonia memorabilia, and hear updates on the upcoming 2026 Bicentennial celebration. Guests of alumni are welcome to attend. 
Tickets are $27 per person.  

Class of 1975 Milestone Luncheon

Saturday brings a retro twist with the Milestone Luncheon for the Class of 1975, also at noon in the Horizon Room. The menu will feature 1970s-inspired taste treats, and attendees are encouraged to wear vintage concert tees, tie-dye, or decorated denim to celebrate the era.
Tickets are $27 per person

Sweetheart Soiree and Singles Social

A tradition gets a fresh update with the Sweetheart Soiree, now welcoming singles to join the fun. To be held in the Science Center atrium at 4 p.m. on Saturday, the social event offers a beautiful setting, photo props, and plenty of opportunities to mingle and reminisce. 
Tickets are $15 per person

FREDathalon and Soccer Showdown

For those looking to revive their competitive spirit, the new FREDathalon invites alumni and families to join in friendly outdoor lawn games near University Stadium starting at noon on Saturday. All skill levels are welcome, and the event will feature a beer tent and hot dog bar. Team registration is available online or in person. 
$24 Team registration is required for prizes
 
Organizers noted, "Don’t miss the chance to cheer on the men’s soccer team as they face off against SUNY Oswego at 1 p.m. Be sure to wear your Fredonia blue and show your school pride!"
