Incubator to host intellectual property, copyright workshop

Intellectual property and copyright for creative works will be explored at a virtual workshop, conducted by The Research Foundation for SUNY Associate Director for Innovation Services Steven Wood and hosted by the Fredonia Technology Incubator, on Friday, March 5, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Mr. Wood assists with providing technology commercialization services to the 23 SUNY campuses with centralized tech transfer. He has worked with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a licensed U.S. patent attorney.

Prior to joining The Research Foundation, Wood held positions in several startup companies.

The free workshop is being presented by the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, the Professional Development Center and the incubator.
