Islamic faith to be explored during campus event

The Interfaith Coalition is hosting Brother Sami Qadri from the Jamestown Islamic Center, who will speak on the Islamic faith.

The event is slated for Wednesday, April 10 at 5 p.m. in the Blue Lounge in the Williams Center.

Dr. Shazad Mohammad of the School of Business will serve as moderator. Organizers include Dr. Kaustav Misra, who is Dean of the School of Business; Dr. Vicki T. Sapp, who is chief officer of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Mark Suida, who serves as director of the Office of Campus Life.

The first 25 attendees will be entered into a raffle for Starbucks or Applebees gift cards. Three gift cards will be presented.

Anyone who is interested in broadening their faith or learning about other faiths is invited to attend.
