Lindamer and Ennis receive Prestosports Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has honored Alexis Lindamer from Fredonia and Julia Ennis from Plattsburgh as this week's PrestoSports Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Lindamer accounted for six points, two goals and two assists this week for the Devils. Fredonia went 2-0 defeating Pitt.-Bradford and Utica last week. 

Ennis made seven saves in the Cardinals' 4-2 win over Union College on Saturday. It marks the second seven-save performance this season for the junior netminder.

The Fredonia State men's soccer team collected another 1-0 win -- its third of the season -- at Allegheny College on Saturday. The win pushes the Devils' record to 4-2-0 on the season, with both losses coming in 1-0 games.

Ruiz turns in lifetime best

Anthony Ruiz turned in a strong performance at the Rochester Invitational on Saturday. The junior Dunkirk native finished 11th in a field of 226 runners, helping the Devils to a 10th-place finish. Ruiz completed the 8k course in 26:12. It was his lifetime best at that distance.
