Jordan Lockett of the men's track team finished first in two events and Payton Gilbert of the women's basketball team had a couple of big games in SUNYAC action this past week.
Lockett continued his hot start to the indoor track season by winning both the 60m dash and the 200m. He placed first in the prelims and again in the finals in a field of 22 runners in the 60m, in a time of 6.97 seconds. In the 200m, he was the top dog of 64 runners in 22.56 seconds.
Gilbert averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in a pair of games for Fredonia State. She also shot a sizzling 73 percent from the floor, going 16-22. In a 69-63 win over Morrisville, she scored 20 points, had 6 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists. In a 69-64 loss against SUNYAC rival for Buffalo State, she went for 19 points, 10 rebounds, and had 3 assists. Gilbert leads the SUNAYC with a 53.1 percent field-goal percentage.

Ethan Sokolowski - Averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in a pair of games for men's basketball.
Stevie Williams - Averaged 13.5 points and 4 rebounds in two games for men's hoops.
Mathieu Fornier - Had a hat trick in a 5-4 overtime loss at Buff State. Fournier's third goal tied the game at 4-4 with 14 seconds left in regulation before the Devils fell in overtime.
Leah Marsh - Continued to put up some solid scores in diving. Against Brockport, she picked up first (3m board, 250.05) and second (1m, 234.53) place finishes. The next day, she was first off both boards, scoring 237.25 off the 1m and 266.25 off the 3m.
