Fredonia State's men's 4-by-400 relay quartet of Marcus Torres, Toby Onuoha, Will Guagliardo, and Griffin Dombroske ran a regional-qualifying time Saturday while competing at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

The quartet of underclassmen -- Torres is a junior, Dombroske a sophomore, and Onuoha and Guagliardo freshmen -- were clocked in 3:22.12 at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center. They finished 25th out of 53 relays, many of them from NCAA Division III schools.

Their time Saturday also placed them at No. 4 on Fredonia State's all-time indoor performance list and puts them in the field at the All-Atlantic Regional Indoor Track & Field Championship meet March 6 & 7 at Nazareth College.
