When asked about her favorite thing(s) about Fredonia, Miller said, “The community. Everyone here is very close and very supportive, which is why I love my job as an RA. I love being able to build connections with my residents and help support them as they start their freshmen year.” Miller’s future goals are to earn a M.S. in Conservation Biology and work with animal preservation, as well as conduct public outreach programs.
Miller nominated by Alumni Hall Residence Director Kayla Makosiej. Ms. Makosiej’s praise of Miller’s work included, “Maddi keeps a very positive and professional attitude around both residents and fellow co-workers. Maddi is very busy, but even so is always willing to put in any extra work that is necessary to support residents and fellow staff members. Maddi builds genuine relationships with her residents where they feel comfortable to come to her with issues and concerns.”
