Following graduation, Brown plans to attend graduate school to earn a master’s degree in Choral Conducting. His long-term goal is “to become a high school chorus teacher or possibly a music department chairperson.”

Brown was nominated by Daniel Cherry, the front-of-house coordinator of Rockefeller Arts Center, whose praise of Brown includes being “detail oriented, reliable and conscientious.

“He is involved in many groups on campus and has many leadership roles. He takes initiative and helps problem solve at many events held at the Rockefeller Arts Center.

“Brody is loved by many of our volunteer community ushers as he provides orientation training for both community and student volunteers. Brody has created documentation for procedures and processes for Usher Corps, and he has a high standard for quality. He is a great representative of the school and to our community,” Mr. Cherry concluded.

The Student of the Month program was implemented in 2003 to recognize students who are well-rounded, excel in their academics, and contribute positively to the campus and community.
