Several School of Music faculty at Fredonia were involved in the world premiere recording of Richard Danielpour's “The Passion of Yeshua,” released by the classical music label Naxos Records in March.

The recording was made by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, conducted by JoAnn Falletta.

Assistant Professor of Voice and Choral Conducting Adam Luebke, who is also music director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, prepared the chorus. Adjunct Lecturer of Trombone Jonathan Lombardo and Adjunct Lecturer of Trumpet Alex Jakopii are members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and played on the recording.

Associate Professor of Sound Recording Bernd Gottinger was the audio engineer.

The recording took place during the live performances of the work in April 2019.
