The SUNY Fredonia Music Therapy Conference 2026, “Music Therapy for Health and Healing,” was held recently on campus.
Dr. Cheryl L. Dileo, the keynote speaker and featured presenter, led sessions on music for health and well-being, hospice music therapy, and a clinical voice workshop.
The conference was sponsored by the Sorel Foundation, through the Fredonia College Foundation, and the SUNY Fredonia Music Therapy Club. The event was part of the 2025-2026 Sorel Visiting Artist Series.
Students, alumni, and music therapy professionals from the region and around the world participated.
Organizers report that the conference provided a valuable learning opportunity for all involved.
