Fredonia's Cara Pellechia is the SUNYAC Field Athlete of the Week and Cortland's Autumn Pittman is the Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Pellechia won first place in the pole vault at the Houghton Invitational on Saturday. The reigning SUNYAC champion's vault of 3.45m currently ranks her third in the Niagara Region.
Pittman finished first out of 59 competitors in the 200-meter dash at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup with a time of 26.16 seconds. She also finished second out of 45 sprinters in the 60-meter dash after posting a time of 7.91 seconds in the finals. Both of her performances are AARTFC qualifiers.
