The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has chosen Fredonia's Tyler Phillips and Oneonta's Michael Losak as PrestoSports Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week respectively.
Phillips led the Devils to a 4-0 weekend, going 9-14 (.643) at the plate and driving in nine runs. He collected a pair of doubles and a homerun, with at least two hits in every game. For good measure, he also stole seven bases, scored five times, and had three walks.
Losak threw a complete game in a 9-1 win versus SUNY Canton. Losak struck out 11 batters and allowed just three hits and no earned runs.
