Fredonia State had seven second-place finishes by individuals before winning the 200-yard freestyle to close out its men's swimming and diving meet Saturday at Allegheny College.
Polowy touched out first in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:23.54 and was first in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:36.90.
Fredonia State's next-best finish Saturday in the 188-48 team loss was authored by Jess Schimek, who was second in 1-meter springboard diving. Schimek earned 258.0 points in the event.
