Polowy, Kalsman claim individual wins

Fredonia State had three individual wins Saturday in its 147-69 loss to Brockport.

Two wins were by sophomore McKayla Polowy: the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:21.15 and the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.8. The 400-yard individual medley was won by junior Erin Kalsman in 4:57.79.

Fredonia State also had three second-place finishers: senior Alyson Baumann in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:!6.07), freshman Rachael Mayou in the 500-yard freestyle (5:44.80), and junior Jess Schimek in 1-meter diving (233.95 points).

The only home meet of the 2019-20 season is next up when the Blue Devils entertain Cortland next Saturday at 1 p.m.
