Senior Aileen Richardson was named March Resident Assistant of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.
A fourth semester RA from Pittsford, NY, majoring in Social Work and Sociology, Ms. Richardson is a member of the Social Work Club, Phi Alpha Social Work honor society and Alpha Kappa Delta, the sociology honors society.

When asked about what she likes best about Fredonia, Richardson responded, "The Social Work program and faculty are fantastic! They are always there to support students and offer so many great opportunities! The Kasling Hall staff are also so supportive, understanding and amazing at what they do!"
When asked about future plans, Richardson said, "I have been accepted to the [State] University at Buffalo for my MSW degree. I hope to further my education working with those diagnosed with cancer and supporting them as they process their diagnosis, undergo treatment and navigate the health care system."
Richardson was nominated by Kasling Hall Residence Director Sabrina Sosa. "Aileen greatly impacts the culture of the hall community. She took the lead on decorating the hall lobby and takes pride in making it look nice. Aileen has really stepped up this year with supporting the new RAs in Kasling,” Ms. Sosa said.
“It has been a joy to see her confident in her position enough to help others. She also is a great support to me and is always willing to help above and beyond her job duties,” Sosa added.
