Fredonia School of Music Senior Lecturer and contralto Lynne McMurtry and pianist Dr. Alison d’Amato recently presented a recital featuring the music of Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Fanny Hensel, John Musto, Rosephanye Powell, Gabrielle Rosse Owens, Hope Salmonson and Rodney Sharman.

The recital, at Ciminelli Recital Hall at SUNY Buffalo State University, was followed by a master class.

Kessler receives AIA Moynihan Award

Markus Kessler, who has shepherded approximately 120 SUNY Fredonia construction projects having a combined value of over $430 million, has received the 2024 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Award, one of three Professional Awards conferred by AIA (American Institute of Architects) New York State.
