Some of Fredonia’s student singer/songwriters received an ovation following the fall FredSong Singer/Songwriter Showcase performance.
Fredonia’s student singer/songwriters will again display their talents through a showcase sponsored by the Department of Theatre and Dance.
The second FredSong Singer/Songwriter Showcase of the 2025-26 season takes place on Wednesday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m., in Bartlett Theatre. The inaugural FredSong event took place in September 2025.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for all students. They are available online 24/7. Tickets may also be purchased on Monday, Wednesday or Friday by phone at (716) 673-3501, in person at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.m and at the door.
Facilitated by Dr. Rob Deemer, who is serving as chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance, the showcase is open to student singer/songwriters from throughout the campus. The showcase is part of the New Works Series, a new initiative by the department.
In addition to giving student singer/songwriters an outlet, the FredSong Showcase provides another opportunity for technical theatre students to hone their skills in a live setting.
