Dr. Bruce Simon recently participated on the panel, “The Gilded Age on the Page,” at the Quarry Farm Symposium.
Dr. Simon, who is a faculty member in the Department of English, presented a paper on Mark Twain and Nathaniel Hawthorne.
The 11th Quarry Farm Symposium, held at Elmira College and Quarry Farm, was sponsored by the Center for Mark Twain Studies. The theme of the symposium was “Gilded Ages: Humor, Literature, and Society."
