The School of Music will present a choral concert on Wednesday, April 29 at 8 p.m. in Rosch Recital Hall.

In addition to the Fredonia Chamber Choir and the Fredonia College Choir and three student conductors, the concert will feature guest choir the Westwinds, a high school ensemble from Westfield Academy and Central School.

The Westfield choir is under the direction of Fredonia alumnus Kent Knappenberger (’87 Music Education). Mr. Knappenberger was the winner of the inaugural GRAMMY Music Educator Award in 2014.

The Westwinds will be performing pieces written by retired SUNY Fredonia professor Dr. Keith Petersen in 1995 for the Fredonia Chamber Singers.
