SUNY Fredonia once again hosted the Arts of Italy study abroad program.

Fourteen SUNY Fredonia students and one SIMY Oneonta student spent over two weeks exploring Italy and Renaissance art, architecture, and sculpture.

The program has been taking students to Italy for over 20 years. Since 2015, Professor Peter Tucker from the Department of Visual Arts and New Media has been spearheading the experience. Dr. David Kinkela from the Department of History helped also helped to create the life-changing experience for the students.

The course started with pre-trip classes to set the stage for the experience and culminated in spending over two weeks exploring the museums, churches, and sites (and food) of Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre and Fiesole, Italy.
